In this webinar, we will focus on the complexities of online English teaching, particularly in the context of exam preparation. We identify the unique challenges that teachers and learners face and offer practical solutions to address them.

Solutions include customising lesson plans, using interactive and engaging materials, and offering individualised feedback. We also provide examples and case studies to illustrate effective solutions in action.
Learners encounter challenges like motivation and self-discipline, technological issues, and language barriers. We suggest solutions such as setting clear goals and schedules, offering tech troubleshooting resources, and providing language support options. Real-world success stories from learners further emphasise these solutions.
We also explore a range of tools for effective online teaching, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), interactive language platforms, and collaboration tools.
The webinar concludes with a recap of key points and an optimistic view of the future of online English teaching, where these challenges can be turned into opportunities for growth and success.

Sensations English lesson resources are great for today’s learners.
Sensations English was a finalist in the 2021 British Council ELTons award for Innovation in Learner Resources and won two British Council ELTons commendations! The first, for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, recognised the global and social range of our English learning content, covering contemporary issues and giving learners access to a wide range of issues and global English voices.
Secondly, we were the only winners of the British Council’s inaugural commendation for Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action! Our content covers such a diverse range of climate and sustainability content, opening learners’ minds to global issues and efforts to resolve them, giving learners the language to engage and raise their voices in this vital area of life.
How Sensations English works
